Hideout 2012 A Festival Treat from Hideout

Interest in Hideout Festival 2012 has been incredible since the first line-up announcement last month and now they have a few more secrets to share for the festive season. Joining an unrelenting collection of the most important talent in electronic music, Hideout today announces brand new additions to the line-up.

Alongside the already confirmed all star cast including the likes of Four Tet and Caribou, Ricardo Villalobos and Resident Advisor’s number 1 DJ in the world, Jamie Jones.  Hideout have added 6 more exciting artists to the 3 night event taking place between 29th June – 1st July 2012.

A DJ Set from Sub Focus has been added to the line-up, while Maya Jane Coles, Breakage, Kerri Chandler, Ben Klock and Radio 1’s very own Toddla T are all set to now join the show in Croatia next summer.

The New Additions

Sub Focus AKA Nick Douwma, has quickly risen through the ranks of underground jungle to become a major player in electronic music. Initially known for dancefloor dismantling drum & bass, Sub Focus is now known for being synonymous with music that draws from all corners of the electronic landscape. His new single ‘Falling Down’ is available for free download from his Facebook fanpage. No doubt Sub Focus’ return to the Isle of Pag will raise the roof at Hideout Festival 2012.

Having announced herself onto the electronic music scene in 2010, Maya Jane Coles has had unbelievable few years since, earning 9th best DJ in the world in Resident Advisor’s 2011 top 100 DJ’s poll. A bright talent with more than a couple of strings to her bow, Maya Jane Coles will bring something very different and exiting to Hideout 2012.

Breakage, who will be making his 2nd visit to the festival, moves effortlessly through styles from drum and bass to dubstep and has proved to be one of the most versatile operators in either scene to date. His recent single ‘Fighting Fire’ was endorsed by Zane Lowe as ‘Hottest Record In The World’ and further support has come from Hideout favourite Annie Mac.

Kerri ´Kaoz´ Chandler, a deep house music originator, has been injecting soul into music since the early nineties and unparalleled in his ability to bring an intoxicating spirit and sparkling soul to the genre, his signature sound has always stayed true to his jazz and soul roots, ensuring Kerri Chandler will light up Zcre Beach this summer.

As one of the years brightest techno stars Ben Klock is welcomed with open arms to Hideout 2012. The Berghain resident has been touring the globe, as well as releasing records on Ostgut Ton and his own label Klockworks and has mounted an international reputation over the last few years making his name synonymous with the rise of techno throughout the world.

Finally, Hideout 2012 welcomes Toddla T to Croatia, 2011 has been another huge year for Toddla T. He has produced tracks for some of the UK urban scene’s biggest stars, is putting the finishing touches to his second album, DJs around the globe, has a slew of remixes under his belt and has now landed his very own weekly Radio 1 show.

Club Partners

As well as the exciting new additions to the line-up, we are welcoming to the Hideout 2012 revelry some new clubbing partners. Returning to Hideout again this year Bigger than Barry – back from 2011 – as well all new club partners Edinburgh’s We Own.

We can also reveal this year’s festival will welcome Hideout residents Bowski, Death on the Balcony, Eskimo Twins, Mak, Mike Jones, North Base, People Get Real, Steppa  and Tonn Piper.

Hideout Festival 2012

Not for the faint-hearted, Hideout 2012 will once again combine the stamina of a beach holiday with the intense euphoria of the most turbo charged electronic festival. If it seemed 2011 was the year Croatia really announced itself has a contender for Ibiza’s crown, then Hideout 2012 is certain to herald its’ arrival.

2012 early bird tickets have already sold out and despite the unbridled sell-out success of last year’s inaugural festival, standard tickets remain at a mere £99 for all the 3 nights and a deposit scheme via Skiddle is still available.

Stay alert for updates and ticket information on boat parties and secret location parties next – updates will be available on their Facebook and Twitter pages.

The New Year will see yet another big announcement, so make sure you are signed up to the Hideout Festival newsletter to avoid missing out – www.hideoutfestival.com
