“Good things come to those who wait, goes the saying and it couldn´t have been more appropriate for our Flying Circus debut In London. Being the place where Audiofly was born musically, it was inevitable that we were going to do our own party in the big city sooner or later, but we were waiting for something special and someone special. Something special comes in the form of the venue. The Red Gallery is an art/exhibition/music warehouse in East London that is just the sort of unique space that we seek for Flying Circus events. The ‘someone special’ is Visionquest man and Detroit resident, Lee Curtiss, whose incredible talents have seen him conquer the decks of the best clubs in the world. We are more than excited to welcome him for the first time to the growing roster of Flying Circus. Not to be missed this will be a night of many surprises.” The Flying Circus team

Born almost randomly at the Miami WMC 2007, Flying Circus has rapidly become the most anticipated opening party of the whole event. Since then founders Audiofly (Luca Saporito and Anthony Middleton) have continued to create unique and bespoke events by bringing Flying Circus around the world, with regular events held annually in Miami, Lima, Barcelona, New York, Panama, Mexico City, Moscow and Sydney. Always looking for original locations and bringing together many of their closest and most influential peers, the Flying Circus brand has rushed to fill an important niche in the dance music world circuit. Following this success, a world tour seemed almost inevitable for 2011.

Saturday 4th June brings Flying Circus to London for the first time. Alongside Lee Curtiss, Hugo (Goodvibe Records) will make an appearance alongside, mulletover and murmur main man, Geddes, Claque Musique founder Lady Carola Pisaturo. East London production collective Wildkats, Italian duo Never Trust DJ’s and the freshest Ministry of Sound resident, Charlotte Michelle 11th will also lend support to pioneers, Audiofly, fresh from their debut artist album release on Get Physical.

Flying Circus London will be hosted at The Red Gallery, part of the Red Project, an ongoing initiative aimed at regenerating empty buildings with cultural events to help regenerate their local area. A child of its times, the RED PROJECT is a cultural response to the use of wasted space caused by the recent economic downturn. This ever-evolving cultural center in the heart of Shoreditch has become one of London´s best loved venues in its short lifespan.
