Burnski returns to his beloved home label, 2020Vision, with the aptly titled, divine summer package, ‘Coming Home’.

‘Coming home’ is flawless house music seeing Burnski delivering his best productions yet for his Leeds home label. Digging deep into some old school house influences, these tracks are still thoroughly modern and tinged with the essence of the oncoming summer.

The title track is a piano led treat, peppered with nostalgic samples it creates warmth and serenity through rhythm and groove - certain to create an elevated atmosphere in every environment. On the B side, ‘Jigsaw’ develops a broodier tone, gradually layering beats and basslines and illustrating the high level of production Burnski has become renowned for. Digital only track ‘The Poet’ is a pure delight to listen to, a third deep, sultry and enchanting dancefloor bomb. This package is one of the finest examples of why the new wave of house music is finding favour at present, holding its own with full and lively atmospheres, playful beats and reflective samples.

Burnski began his career on the 2020Vision label and has since gone on to release a string of high profile productions with Steve Bug’s Poker Flat and Dessous as well as labels such as Morris Audio. His remix skills have also been called upon by the likes of X Press 2 for the reissue of their classic ‘Smoke Machine’ on Skint. ‘Coming Home’ follows up Burnski’s massive ‘Pop EP’ 2020 debut from 2007.

Youth, determination and untold talent are three key ingredients that have brought Burnski to the attention of the underground dance music community. A tireless and imaginative producer, he rarely misses as an opportunity to experiment with sounds and still spends most of his time in a subterranean studio bunker in his home in Leeds. Burnski’s music is intuitive and versatile, drawing upon a wide variation of sounds across the spectrum from jazz, disco, electro, dub, house, minimal and techno.
