2020Vision continues its assault on the dancefloor with ‘A.G.E.’, their debut release from Hector combining four high-energy house tracks seeping with some early influences.

‘A.G.E.’ is evidence that the best music stands the test of time. Harking back to the crisp and innocent early sound of house music, recreated in the present and preserving a moment in time, Hector fills the speakers with an energetic and rough sound to rouse the senses.

‘Not At The Moment’ gives an injection of groove to the package with some playful samba inspired flavours. The nostalgic theme lingers in ‘Hang On’ with swaggering beats, bouncing basslines and looped vocals all building towards an erupting break down. 

Hector has long been one of the most in demand DJ’s on the underground London scene and has now become an equally successful producer releasing for Mobilee, Crosstown Rebels, Horizontal, Phonica, 8Bit and Cecille. Through his job at London’s house and techno mecca Phonica Records he has continually had his finger on the pulse of new, cutting edge music.

2020Vision is one of the longest running underground house and techno labels around. Founded by 2020Soundsystem frontman Ralph Lawson, its notched up 20 years of output with key artists including Simon Baker, Crazy P, Burnski and 2020Soundsystem. Armed with a defiant reputation for breaking new artists and material, it is a voice of innovation and experience in an environment that can often feel cluttered.
