Solomun’s Diynamic delivers a soulful collection of summer night jams in another captivating meeting between him and label mate Stimming in ‘Challenge Everyday’ EP, featuring five illustrious tracks that bridge the gap between pop and dancefloor.

Opening with a tongue in cheek ‘Intro’ vocal recording from Solomun’s mother, ‘Challenge Everyday’ EP unravels the deep talents of these two producers as they carve a contemporary niche sound that will appeal to funk fiends and dance enthusiasts alike.

´See You Everyday Alone´ fires up the soul with a cavernous bassline and groove to induce heavy sweats, as robotic vocals, epic strings and synth stabs crack into deep breakdowns. Its dub workout is another pulsating dark creature that envelops the senses in layers of sound.

Stimming´s contribution ´Challenge the Air´ features the gentle vocal and bass of David Stoltzenberg. Atmospheric and intimate, his acoustic guitars complement Stimming´s signature groove and the echoing vocal enlivens a floating, hypnotic mood. With a deep indie sensibility, this is one of Stimming´s most personal and emotive works to date.

The Hamburg-based, Bosnian-born Croatian Solomun has played a major role in redefining European house music in recent years via productions and performances, which take the building blocks of house and deftly reconstruct them with a decidedly modern twist. Also a promoter, radio host and club owner, he has delivered an impeccable string of productions for the likes of Freerange, Get Physical, Dessous, Compost, and his own Diynamic imprint. Having started Diynamic just five years ago, the imprint now enjoys the sort of reverence usually reserved for labels three times its age and has been instrumental in allowing some of the new talents in electronic music to shine. Hamburg’s Martin Stimming is a staple and defining factor of Diynamic Music and one of the most exciting new producers of his generation. With two albums under his belt, he eschews the normal kick-clap/snare template by and large to explore more interesting and progressive territories, always with that trademark magpie-like sense of texture, emotion and discovery.
