Double Standard prepare to release a special 10 inch white vinyl limited run of Gadi Mizrahi & Soul Clap with their coproductions ‘She’s Bad / Beautiful Thang’, both bursting with light and optimism.

After causing a storm over the past year on various mixes and cropping up in the boxes of an eclectic array of disc jockeys, ‘She’s Bad’, Gadi Mizrahi & Soul Clap’s remix of Boston based Bad Rabbits band and the original coproduction, ‘Beautiful Thang’ makes its way onto vinyl for the first time.  

‘She’s Bad’ is the type of song you only need hear once and long to hear it again and again, its infectious vocal and party vibe quickly running through your veins. Reinventing the meaning of a party anthem, as Gadi Mizrahi, its producer and Double Standard label frontman, explains, "She's Bad" remix was made in the H studio at The Beach Club in Miami. It was the first remix we had worked on together and The Clap were super confident in this track right when we finished it. I only understood how strong this track was after we played it on tour together and watched the whole room singing along. We would even turn the music off and let the crowd do the singing... pretty magical!”

‘Beautiful Thang’ shares a similar spirit, delicately layering luscious textures of rhythmic grooves onto smooth and seductive vocals and encapsulating a warm unique sound that Soul Clap, Gadi and the whole Double Standard crew have become known for. Double Standard is a beacon of quality that is quickly carving out a niche for friendly, accessible and striking music for listeners from all walks of life and kickstarting a new vinyl revolution.

Soul Clap are the Boston based duo who are steadily infecting the globe with a new strain of e-funk through releases on Wolf + Lamb, Crosstown Rebels, Culprit and an assault on some of the best dancefloors worldwide. Gadi Mizrahi is one half of the musical partnership Wolf + Lamb that has created a unique and much admired family of creative activity.
