Next up from the Spanish Esperanza consortium 'On This Vibe' delivers some deep and hypnotic house music from New York’s one and only Fred P AKA Black Jazz Consortium with a delightful remix by Sistrum's favourite Patrice Scott.

The original title track, ‘On This Vibe’ is an amazing late night Detroit ride - slowly evolving to create an evocative atmosphere, elevating the listener up to the clouds. An epic 10-minute journey that makes you wish it was an endless trip, this is pure spellbinding and rhythmic house music from a legend of the genre.

On the flipside, Patrice Scott’s Sistrum remix makes some twists and turns from the original cut - putting his own trademark signature sound into this stunning work and delivering another breath-taking emotional space walk.

Fred P AKA Black Jazz Consortium is a Brooklyn born legend - involved in a wide variety of music from the R&B, funk and rock and roll of the 70s, through to electro, hip-hop, reggae and disco of the early 80’s and turning to house music at its birth. An accomplished DJ, artist, and remixer, Fred P is the creator and owner of Soul People Music. Recording for a wide range of indie labels (most notably Underground Quality headed by the legendary DJ Jus Ed) Fred P has gained a following of true deep house lovers the world over. Science and philosophy play a large roll in his approach to music, choosing to present rawness over the pristine, substance over style and vibe over formula is the very definition of the projects he brings to life.
