Burnski
Let It Be EP

For the next release on the unfaltering One Records, close family member Burnski is back on board with his ‘Let It Be EP’. This stunning release is a fresh dose of musical genius featuring master in soul Beckford on the vocals, plus an impressive remix from label head Adam Shelton.

Showcasing One Records as a label that are not afraid to explore the realms of house music, this next release ventures into yet another side the label has to offer but stays true to its top quality ethos. Standout and diverse, each track is a perfect addition to the One Records discography.

‘Let It Be’ is as groovy as it gets with a super low loop of dreamy deep guitar chords. Soaring synths, electronic stabs and sporadic key riffs are soon followed by the welcomed pleasure of blissful piano keys. The musical brilliance and on point production resembles legends such as St. Germain and Kenny Larkin and the flawless, treasured vocals from Birmingham’s finest Beckford compliment the track perfectly. Most famously known for his collaborations with One Records boss Subb-an with tracks ‘The Lovers Night’ and ‘Take You Back’ on Spectral Sound, Burnski explains how the two came to work together: ‘we recorded the track together in his studio in Birmingham and really clicked. Beckford was an obvious choice for vocal for the track with the close connection to the One boys.’

On the flip and picking up the pace is ‘Feeling’, an essential weapon of choice to destroy any dance floor at peak time. This is a real house gem with a modern twist, filled with drive and energy yet bursting with groove and gleaming synth patterns.

Spinning his own quirky twist on the original ‘Feeling’, label head Adam Shelton steps up for remix duty. Stabbing and swirling synths make this hypnotic trip one to remember, with electro melody and super groove to keep it deep and funky with an effective use of the vocal for that extra special touch.

Having released on highly acclaimed labels such as Culprit, Dessous Recordings, Poker Flat, Real Tone, 2020 Vision, Needwant and of course One Records, the now Berlin based Burnski is moving from strength to strength. This year looks set to be his biggest yet...with upcoming remixes for key players Franck Roger and Maya Jane Coles.
